As a curator in the Hats Finance Curator Program,you will be taking on the vital role of securing protocols and contributing to the evolution of decentralized security. How? Become a DeSec Ambassador
A curator functions essentially as a growth ambassador of Hats Finance and a proponent of DeSec. Curators introduce projects for audit competitions and depending on the tier, help support and curate their audit competition journey and experience on Hats Finance. Upon successful curation of audit competitions, curators can receive a fee for their services. Both responsibilities and revenues vary depending on the tier in which the curator operates.
Other than acting as referrals, curators should ideally be able to help pitch and support customers through the process, offering a value-adding experience to Hats Finance customers.

Curators' responsibilities vary from introducing project audit competitions to helping support and curate their audit competition journey and experience on Hats Finance. Upon successful curation of audit competitions, curators can receive a fee for their services. Both responsibilities and revenues vary depending on the tier in which the curator operates.
Curator Tiers and Rewards
To join the Curator Program, you must select which type of hat you’d like to use (which tier you’d like to operate in). You have three tiers: Growth Seeker, Growth Genius, and Growth Wizard.
Tier #1: Growth Seeker
Growth Seekers identify potential clients and facilitate the first meeting between the project and the Hats Finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage groups with leads on platforms like Telegram or Discord
- Coordinate and set up at least one initial meeting* between Hats Finance and potential clients.
- Participation in client meetings is optional but encouraged for better engagement.
*This must be the first meeting between the Hats Team and the potential customer in the past six months, and the curator must personally organize it.
Rewards:
- Earn 10% of the Hats fee derived from the payout of competitions you initiate.
Requirements:
- Open to everyone from the user groups above with a proactive attitude, a knack for networking, and a basic understanding of Business Development.
Tier #2: Growth Genius
The Growth Genius manages the audit competition journey from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution.
Responsibilities:
- All responsibilities from Tier 1: Growth Seeker.
- Open vaults with clients and ensure the secure deposit of funds.
- Escort the project through all pre-competition phases until funds are securely deposited.
- Coordinate with the Hats Finance security team to ensure all preparations are up to standard.
Rewards:
- Receive 15% of the Hats Finance fee calculated from the payout of competitions you manage.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Business Development and Technology: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and maintain client relationships throughout the deployment phase.
Tier #3: Growth Wizard
The Growth Wizard takes full ownership of the competition process, from promotion to dispute resolution, ensuring optimal outcomes for all parties involved.
Responsibilities:
- All responsibilities from Tier 1: Growth Seeker and Tier 2: Growth Genius.
- Promote the competition to attract a wide array of participants.
- Oversee the competition’s operations, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to timelines.
- Actively participate in and resolve any disputes that arise, ensuring fair play and compliance.
Rewards:
- A substantial reward of up to 50% of the Hats fee from the competition’s payout, depending on the responsibilities you take on.
Requirements:
- Experience in audit firms or as a solo auditor.
- Extensive knowledge of the Hats competition model and strong leadership capabilities to manage all aspects of the competition.
Important clarifications about rewards:
- Rewards payout is contingent upon the successful completion and payout of the competition.
- For the Growth Wizard (Tier 3): If the Hats Teams has to intervene or support hands-on, apart from technical bug fixing, the curator will be ranked down to Growth Genius or even Growth Seeker for that competition.
- 50% is the maximum percentage you can earn with the curator program. Your percentage starts at 15% (Growth Genius Tier) and increases up to 50% (Growth Wizard Tier) based on the additional responsibilities you take on.

- Set Up Your Profile
- Apply for the Curator Role
- Complete the Application Form
- Submit and Wait for a Response
After submitting, your application status will be marked as Pending. The Hats Growth team will review it, and once approved, you’ll be notified!
