$HAT is set to be the official community-owned, governance token by Hats Finance. As a web3 security protocol, Hats Finance has long had the vision of involving the community in the world of security. Until now, the security landscape in web3 never truly involved the community, only serving protocols and other web3 institutions. Users should have a stake in understanding and contributing to the security best practices. Additionally, security services currently cater overwhelmingly to protocols and institutions, while individual security for users continues to be on the rise.
It’s time to bring the power of security to the people, and make sure that web3 security is for everyone.

How can I get $HAT? Is there an airdrop?
$HAT is currently not launched yet, but it will be very soon.
1M $HAT tokens (1% of the total $HAT supply) are currently stored in the Hats treasure vault, and the vault is about to be unlocked soon. These $HAT tokens form part of the second, community-driven airdrop incentives for new users who take part in this series of community engagement initiatives.
The team will be giving our aspiring Hat Hunters an opportunity to share the treasure by participating in our treasure hunt. Top Hat Hunters will be given more $HAT treasure once the vault opens. Become a top Hat Hunter by participating in more treasure hunts. It is as simple as that!
Everyone can participate in the Hats Treasure Hunt, not just retail or security researchers.
Joining the Hats Treasure Hunt
The Hats Treasure Hunt will be a multi-platform community engagement campaign held on Galxe, TaskOn, and Warpcast. Hat Hunters can complete hunts on these platforms to earn Hats points — which will help rank Hats Hunters and calculate their share of the $HAT airdrops. In addition to earning points for $HAT, we have allocated > 10,000 USDC of exciting rewards for our community campaigns. There are just so many ways to earn rewards as part of an active Hat Hunter.
The last day for collecting Hats Points will be 18th June 2024, 00:00 UTC+0. TGE will happen very shortly after, so Hat Hunters will not have to wait too long for the treasure vault to be unlocked.

Examples
Example 1:
At the end of the campaign, John accumulated 200 Hats points on Galxe, 200 points on Warpcast, and 100 Hats points on TaskOn. John in total has 500 hats points from all the platforms. Assume for this example, a total of 1M hats points was won by all users across all 3 platforms during the campaign.
John’s token allocation will be = (500/1,000,000) * 1,000,000 = 500 $HAT
Example 2:
Mary participated in the treasure hunt but only on Galxe and won 1,000 Hats points at the end of the campaign period. Assume in this case, a total of 1M hats points was also won by users across all 3 platforms during the campaign.
Mary’s token allocation = (1,000/1,000,000) * 1,000,000 = 1,000 $HAT
It’s that simple! Complete more treasure hunts, and win more Hats Points! More Hats Points = more $HAT tokens — it is just that easy.

Q1: Where can I see how many points I have collected?
A: Both Galxe and TaskOn offer their own leaderboards to show you the number of points you have collected. Unfortunately, the points collected from Warpcast will not be visible, but internally we have an API to track the actions made by each user. Remember to connect your EVM wallet to Warpcast so we can match your wallet address to your profile!
Q2: Is there a preference for one particular community platform? Must I use all three to be eligible?
A: As shown in the examples, there is no preference for a particular platform, and you need not participate in all three to be eligible for accruing Hats Points. However, as the steps are similar, why not do it all?
Q3: When will the airdrop happen?
A: The airdrop is scheduled to happen within 1 month of the end of the Treasure Hunt campaign — stay tuned for official updates! Follow us on Twitter to stay up to date.
Q4: I have a question, where do I go?
A: You may join our telegram channel here or join our discord to ask questions.
Q5: Can I just do the steps, but not participate in the campaign?
A: If you passively do the steps, such as following us on Twitter, without claiming participation on TasKOn or Galxe, you will NOT be able to accrue Hats Points for airdrop. You must complete the campaign on the TaskOn or Galxe campaign page to accrue Hats Points and get airdrop. Be warned!
