Bug Bounty Alert: Welcome Giveth
Attention white hat hackers, Giveth has opened a bug bounty vault on Hats Finance!
Starting today, a bug bounty of 100,000 $GIV (more will be added later) will be available in our dApp, furthering their long term commitment security and user’s safety.
We invite security researchers and community members to get involved in the protection of Giveth’s contracts by disclosing a vulnerability or depositing it in their bug bounty vault. Learn more about how this works by reading our articles about the Hats Airdrop Machine and the Hats Mechanism.
To start bug hunting, check their contracts in scope https://github.com/Giveth/giv-token-contracts
About Giveth
Giveth is a DAO that is working to radically transform how public goods are funded. Starting with a zero-fee crypto donation platform, Giveth rewards donors who give to verified public goods projects. Their long-term mission is to help nonprofits evolve out of centralized governance and a reliance on donations, into community-owned regenerative economic systems. They’ve been around since 2016, building open source software to benefit public goods creators all over the world.

About Hats Finance
Hats Finance is the first of its kind. It is a community-owned and decentralized bug bounty protocol that encourages white hat hackers to contribute to projects’ security. Because security exploits affect all parties involved, Hats Finance facilitates community involvement by allowing users to provide liquidity to their favorite bounties and earn $HAT tokens (once they become available). We hope that by allowing community involvement we can join Giveth in raising awareness on the importance of protocol security in crypto, while encouraging white-hat hacker involvement.
